While a kitchen renovation alone provides a fresh new look, the change becomes more drastic when paired with a new floor. Our client hated her cabinets and the original layout. Having old, outdated floors added to her frustration. After meeting with us and our designers, we formulated the perfect plan for her space.
When you look at the pictures above, imagine the sink being originally installed at the current stove location. Our client didn’t even have the ability to peer through her window while doing the dishes due to its location. Basically, we swapped the stove and sink location to provide a better flow for the kitchen. The center wall that now houses the fridge used to be framed in an “L” shape, so we knocked out the non-supporting wall to open up the space a little. While the cabinets, tops and appliances look sharp, the game changing moment came when the floor was installed. The floor pulled the whole new look together! Turned out gorgeous, and our client loved it (which is the real key!!).
