A+ Home Improvements continues to knock out projects as the summer progresses. Our next client desired a new kitchen and flooring. Upon meeting with them, we realized that they had a pretty good idea of what they were shooting for, which helped us with the design stage. They didn’t want to stray to far from the existing layout, but definitely wanted to update the space. Additionally, they wanted the flooring in the kitchen to continue into the foyer. Lastly, they definitely longed to update the lighting in the family room. Take a look at what we started with:
The existing space appeared dark and unwelcoming. To change this, our client opted for two tone cabinetry that really brightened up the space. For the floor, they decided to install luxury vinyl plank that continued into the foyer and hallway as well. To better utilize the space, we extended the lower cabinets at the fridge wall and installed a built in microwave. We also installed a recessed range hood over the stove to provide a sleek, clean look. Last, but not least, we installed a vibrant quartz countertop that finished off the look they were going for. What a difference! The last portion of this project centered around the living room. We installed recessed lighting to provide ample brightness for the room. Take a look at the before and after pictures below:
