Welcome back to another fabulous A+ Home Improvements’ project!! We love that our center is tackling a multitude of different projects. Whether renovating a bathroom, pouring a new driveway, or completing an old kitchen rehab- our projects keep things interesting. For our next project, the homeowner desired to renovate their dated, old kitchen space. To compound the problem, the kitchen was moved to the top of the priority list due to a leak from the exterior. For the most part, the kitchen layout worked for the homeowner. However, a multitude of updates were needed to increase the usability of the space. Take a look at what we started with:
The space offered a large enough floor plan, but the current use of the space left much to be desired. After ripping out the old cabinets and fixtures, we turned our attention to the water damage on the exterior wall. During renovations like this, it is not uncommon to run into unforeseen issues. Upon opening the wall, we found that the framing had extensive rot due to the years of water intruding into the wall cavity. We brought this to the attention of the homeowner, and came up with a game plan to remedy the situation.

Once we leapt over that hurdle, we began the process putting together the new kitchen. We installed new cabinets, a beautiful new quartz countertop and a fabulous tile backsplash. In addition to updating the fixtures, we installed the perfect luxury vinyl plank to handle the abuse of everyday use. Take a look at the results:
Big transformation! Our client selected beautiful finishes that created a perfect space to host family events and get-togethers.
