Welcome back to another A+ Home Improvements’ project!! This time around, we are tackling a smaller bathroom that needed, among other things, a corner shower update. The existing shower enclosure consisted of a small alcove space that needed to be revamped. The alcove only accommodated a 30 x 30 shower pan, which is technically the smallest allowable size. To at least create the illusion of more space in the bathroom, our client opted to install a corner shower unit to maximize the space provided. While not a great picture, here is the space we started with:
Tight spot, right!? While renovating the shower area, we also tackled the flooring to bring the bathroom up to date. For the shower enclosure, our client decided to install gray subway style tile that greatly spruced up the feel of the room. With the right shower wall gone, the room seemed to just open up.
While not a huge renovation, the changes delivered a vastly different look. For the flooring, we installed a water proof vinyl plank flooring that complimented the shower surround perfectly.
