Welcome back to another A+ Home Improvements’ project! With Christmas right around the corner, we would like to wish everybody a happy holiday season! For our next project, we wanted to show you guys a simple Flexstone shower conversion. This homeowner contacted us after we worked with one of their close friends. After looking at the situation, we let them know that they did not have much of an option with this project. The original tub faucet began leaking, and the space provided no access of any kind due to another bathroom being on the backside of the tub enclosure. Since the work had to be completed anyway, our client decided to take the opportunity to upgrade the space. Take a look at what we started with:
Kind of a crappy situation. To renovate the space, our client decided that they would rather have a walk in shower. The existing tub enclosure consisted of a tile surround, and our client made it clear that they didn’t want to deal with grout anymore. To provide a beautiful look without the mess of grout, we recommended a Flextone shower surround to fit their needs. We finished it off with a sleek shower door and some grab bars for safety and accessability. Take a look:
