Welcome back to another A+ Home Improvements’ project! Our next client wanted to delete a Roman tub. As you will see in the pictures below, the existing tub ate up a large majority of the bathroom space. The only item they wanted to keep was the vanity, as well as keeping the trim stained instead of white. Instead of the tub, they desired a walk in shower with a linen closet to provide storage space. We helped them select products to perfectly suit their needs, and then geared up to get to work. Take a look at what we started with:

The burgundy color was alive and well in this old bathroom! Also, the amount of small tiles on the wall made it feel like a gym’s shower room. The space provided ample room to accommodate their wish-list, so we ripped everything out and got to work. We framed a new shower enclosure and linen closet, and installed a beautiful tiled shower enclosure. We left the vanity in place, but we replaced the top and faucet. To finish up, we installed a new floor and updated the fixtures. Take a look:

What a difference! The shower provided much more functionality than the old tub, and the linen closet also provided much needed space for storage. The home owner complimented the tile surround with a perfectly chosen vinyl plank flooring that pulled the whole concept together. Last, but certainly not least, we stained the new door and trim to match their existing colors. Whether you want to delete a roman tub, or simply need to update an old shower enclosure, let us know! We would love to help out with your project – give us a all to get started today!
