The existing space consisted of dated fixtures and a floor that was leaning badly. Every aspect this bathroom needed some help. We worked diligently with our client to select the perfect products to pull it off, from the shower enclosure all the way to the light bar. Take a look at what we started with:
If you look at the floor and the bathroom entry door, you will see the uneven gaps caused by the floor. We remove the sub floor and repaired the framing to give us a level substrate. One unique feature of this bathroom consisted of a second door that led to a bedroom. To create a more isolated space, we deleted the door and framed in the opening. For the shower, our client opted for a Flexstone shower enclosure that provided an easy to clean surface. We also installed a new vanity and fixtures along with a waterproof vinyl plank floor. The comparison is crazy! The old space felt dark like a dungeon. The new bathroom, however, showcased a light and vibrant feeling.
