Welcome back to another A+ Home Improvements’ project! We consider ourselves blessed to be extremely busy this year, and we have our wonderful surrounding community to thank for that!! As we have mentioned in the past, we absolutely love doing new projects for repeat clients. We take it as a compliment that our clients would invite us back into their homes to complete more work. After replacing windows in their home, our next client desired a finished basement. We worked with them on the layout and specific needs they required, and then went to work pulling together the needed materials for the product. Take a look at what we started with:
The basement contained a fair amount of space. The existing condition, however, made it difficult to use for daily living. To create a larger main room, we deleted the old closet to open it up. For the stairwell, we enclosed the sides and framed a usable space below it. We updated the lighting with recessed LED fixtures, and sprayed the ceiling black provide a contemporary look. To finish it off, we installed a vinyl plank floor with matching stair treads to pull it all together. Take a look:
It doesn’t even look like the same basement! Our client shared their vision, and together we pulled it off. The basement now provided a space to hang out and enjoy with family and friends. Whether big or small, a basement provides extra room for the family to enjoy. Have you thought about a finished basement? We would love to give you a hand! Please give us a call to get your project started today!!
