Welcome back to another A+ Home Improvements’ project! This time around, we wanted to highlight another Flexstone shower conversion. We install hundreds of showers, and they come in all shapes and sizes. Some clients desire elaborate tile walk in showers, while others decide they would like an easy-to-clean alternative. After meeting with the client to get their ideas, we helped with product selection and accessibility concerns. Take a look at what we started with:

The tub proved to be cumbersome for accessibility concerns, so our client opted for a Flexstone shower conversion. To provide an open feel, we deleted the soffit and centered the exhaust fan over the new enclosure. We then installed a simple white shower pan with a beautiful Flexstone surround. To finish it off, we installed some grab bars and a rain-glass shower door. While we were there working, our client also decided to swap out the vanity top to better match there new shower surround. Take a look at the results:

This renovation provided a pretty straightforward example of an accessible shower enclosure. Not all renovations need to consist of huge changes. Sometimes simpler is better. The finished result, however, provided a huge difference not only in the look of the bathroom, but also in the lives of our client. Are you interested in accessible accommodations? Give our team a call to go over your options. We look forward to working with you!!
