Welcome back to another A+ Home Improvements project! The year seems to be flying by, and we keep tackling projects as we go along. Our next client desperately desired to update their kitchen, but did not want to go through the length of a complete renovation. They already enjoyed the kitchen layout, but wanted to spruce it up. After going over the different options available, they opted for new countertops, tile backsplash and painting the kitchen cabinets. Take a look at what we started with:
While the cabinets were in good shape, the dark color casted a shadow over the entire kitchen. We removed the counter tops and backsplash in preparation for the renovation. For painting the kitchen cabinets, our client opted for a two-tone theme. We installed a light countertop with subtle veining and paired it perfectly with a beautiful tile back splash. Every home owner has their own taste, and this client chose exactly what they wanted for this kitchen. Take a look at the results:
Success! Talk about a big change!! Installing new hardware on the cabinets provided the finishing touches. In addition to the kitchen update, we painted rooms throughout the home and created a more functional laundry area.
