Welcome back to another A+ Home Improvements’ project! Our year has been full of awesome projects, and we are ready to show off our next one. While bathroom and kitchen transformations provide a “WOW” factor, sometimes smaller changes make a huge difference. Our next client’s living room consisted of a fireplace as a focal point in the room. The rest of the room, however, felt pretty bland. Our clients desired to install a shiplap wall as an accent in the room. Take a look at the wall we started with:
This picture represents the look of many homes in the area. While you can remove the brick and gut the area, adding a shiplap wall makes a big difference by itself. We installed a hewn beam mantel to pair with the new wall cladding, and it turned out perfectly! In addition to the new shiplap wall, we also repaired and painted numerous rooms throughout the home, including a tall foyer. Let’s take a look:
