Our next client’s bathroom contained an old tub and dingy tile surround that needed to be updated. The home owner desired a simple accessible shower that allowed easy cleaning and maintenance. We needed nothing drastic to renovate the space. In addition to an accessible shower pan, our client required some grab bars and a seat to help with maneuverability. We installed a low threshold shower pan with a clean, sleek surround. For the grab bars, our client opted for a unit containing an integrated shelf to spruce it up a bit. This provided functionality along with safety. We often recommend a folding seat in these situations, which our client agreed with.
