Happy New Year!! Welcome back to another A+ Home Improvements’ project! We may be in the dead of winter, but the chill has not slowed us down. Our next client desired to modify their master bathroom and laundry area to better utilize the space. As you can see in the picture below, the master bathroom contained an old tub enclosure, while the laundry area wasted space that could be better used elsewhere. While they wanted to update the entire bathroom, the focal point centered around a beautiful tile shower enclosure. After carefully going over the options, we ramped up to tackle the project. Take a look at the existing tub and laundry area:
While it is hard to tell from the pictures, the laundry area was on the backside of the existing tub enclosure. We tore out the existing bathroom and laundry space and moved the wall between the master bathroom and the laundry area to create more room for the master bathroom. We tackled more than just these two areas, but take a look at the end result for them:
If you notice, we also deleted the large see through openings overlooking the first floor from the second floor hallway. To round out the project, we replaced the vanity and fixtures, as well as updated the flooring. Here are a couple of picture before the renovation:
