Welcome back to another A+ Home Improvements’ project! We trust that everyone is having a great year, and enjoying seeing some new projects that we are tackling. Our next client’s home contained a spacious master bathroom, but the layout lacked the amenities that our client desired. The existing space consisted of a smaller shower and a giant jetted tub. While it looked nice, the tub ate up space needed to accommodate the new shower enclosure. Our goal was to convert a jetted tub into a shower. To provide a large shower with ample lighting, we incorporated the glass block window into the renovation. We deleted the existing shower enclosure and moved the toilet to the opposite side of the room as well. Before we get ahead of ourselves, let’s take a look at what we started with:
You can see the size of the bathroom and the wasted space contained in it. Also, the end of the vanity was incorporated into the tub enclosure, so modifications needed to take place here as well. We worked hand in hand with our client during the product selection process, and helped bring their idea to life. We framed the new shower enclosure to include a couple of niches for their hygiene products, along with a bench seat to provide a comfortable experience. Let’s take a look at the awesome results!
Mission accomplished! This master bathroom renovation checked all of the boxes for our client. Where the toilet used to be situated, our client opted to install a freestanding storage cabinet that added the perfect final touch to the project. Our crew hit the ball out of the park on this one, and we were excited to be a part of this home owner’s journey. Do you need to convert a jetted tub into a shower?
