Hey everybody! Welcome back to another A+ Home Improvement’s project. This time around we tackled a smaller upgrade in our client’s kitchen. The current kitchen contained laminate counter tops with a full laminate splash. Our client desired to modernize the space, although did not want to drastically change the color and layout. To accomplish this, we installed a timeless subway tile backsplash along with some new quartz counter tops that spruced up the kitchen. You can see from the before and after pictures below that the color wasn’t the issue – the new selections had a similar look and glow as the original. The update did, however, create the clean and slick look that our client was shooting for. Let’s see what we were ripping out:
Our client’s home contained many architectural elements, so we needed to compliment the existing look. Numerous styles and colors of subway tile backsplash exist, providing limitless options to create your desired look. Our client simply wanted a white, classic backsplash to provide a clean look. We installed LED undercabinet lighting to showcase the new tile and provide ambient lighting. The best part for our client, however, was the sink. We installed an oversize single bowl sink that proved to be our client’s favorite feature. Take a look:
