Welcome back to another A+ Home Improvement’s project! Our company absolutely loves transforming bathroom spaces into areas that thrill our clients. This next project shows that you do not have to renovate the entire bathroom to pull off an updated look. Our client inherited an extremely dated tub enclosure that stood out like an eyesore. They desired to convert the tub enclosure into a beautiful walk in tile shower with matte black fixtures. After providing some guidance with material selections, we scheduled the project and geared up to get to work. Let’s take a look at what we were dealing with:
Even with the tub surround already removed, it is easy to tell that this enclosure left a lot to be desired. To provide the desired look, we installed a low threshold walk-in shower pan for simple accessibility. For the main tile, our client elected to install a gray-veined large format tile. To pull in the look of the matte black fixtures, we installed a black hexagon accent tile at the rear of the niche. Once paired with the black fixtures, this tile enclosure really stood out! Our client loved the results, and we were excited to be a part of the project.
