Welcome back to another A+ Home Improvements’ project! We are absolutely thrilled to show you a complete kitchen transformation. We would like to preface this blog by acknowledging how great of a job our installers did!! From our designer, to our office staff, to our boots on the ground – everybody chipped in to knock this project out of the park.

When we first met this homeowner, they needed some direction. Other contractors told them they could do things that simply couldn’t be done after looking at the home’s framing. When planning a large renovation, do not simply take a contractor’s word for it. It is perfectly fine to ask questions to make sure they actually know what they’re talking about. With that said, our client hated their current kitchen. While they may not have known exactly what they wanted, they did desire the end result to be an unrecognizable kitchen! Let’s look at what we started with:
After looking at the current layout, it was understandable that our client didn’t know exactly where to start. A couple of key things included bringing the laundry up to the first floor, along with providing a better layout for everyday use. We decided to tear out all of the wood paneling in the attached breakfast nook and integrate the space into the new floor plan. We deleted a window and moved the fridge into the space. Also, we deleted the small closet and created a perfect spot for a stackable washer and dryer unit. The existing range sat right next to the sink, which provided no adequate cooking space. We decided to move the stove to the opposite wall to create much needed counter space around it.
This renovation shows that you can create a functional kitchen space without needing a huge area to do it. Our client had a general idea of the color scheme they wanted, and were set on the style of tile backsplash they desired to have installed. Take a look at the results:

What a huge difference! Our client’s color choices impressed us, as they worked perfectly together to create a perfect cute kitchen space. We know that our client battled a little anxiety as the plans unfolded. We now proudly state that they absolutely loved the results.
