Welcome back to another A+ Home Improvements’ project! We have tackled all kinds of projects over the past 20 years, but it seems that we continue to run into new situations from time to time. Our next client provided a unique project for us. The existing bathroom space had walls that were covered with wood, including a wood shower surround! Common sense dictates that a wood shower surround provides minimal defense against water, but the previous home owner installed it anyways. Our client desired to completely remove the wood and fixtures in the bathroom and start from scratch. Take a look at what we started with:
Pretty unique, right?! Upon initial installation, we assume that the wood provided a cool one-of-a-kind look for the bathroom space. However, the wet space was doomed right from the get-go. Our client simply wanted an easy to clean tub enclosure paired with updated fixtures and flooring. We worked hand in hand with them to select the perfect products to meet their needs, and geared up to provide the face lift. What a difference!!
Presto!! Talk about a totally different look and feel. We replaced the old tub enclosure with a sleek new unit with plenty of shelving. To update the rest of the space, we install new vinyl plank flooring and fixtures to create a whole new room dynamic. Mission accomplished!
