Welcome back to another A+ Home Improvements’ project! Spring is in full swing, and homeowners are chomping at the bit to get projects out of the way! Our next client’s bathroom needed a complete bathroom transformation. The existing space presented some unique challenges and we looked forward to the task. The existing tub enclosure consisted of a standard size, but it created an unusable space to the right of the sink. In an effort to use the space and provide a luxurious showing experience, we decided to incorporate the “dead space” into the shower enclosure. Let’s take a quick look at what we started with:
See the dead space by the sink? We felt that the space would be much better utilized as a bench for the new tiled showered enclosure. Our team worked closely with our client during the product selection process, and this home owner made some great choices. We removed the dated tile flooring and fixtures and geared up for the bathroom transformation. For the shower enclosure, we framed in a bench seating area that created a whole new look for the space. For the floor, we installed a water proof luxury vinyl plank flooring to provide a slip resistant, stylish finish. From there we installed a new sink and updated the fixtures in the bathroom. We installed two niches for the shower surround to provide ample storage for hygiene products as well. Let’s take a look at the results:
