Welcome back to another A+ Home Improvements’ project! We all have a laundry list of projects to tackle around the house. However, our next client’s list contained more than some others typically do. Our client’s home needed to have 2 full bathrooms renovated. The downstairs bathroom also included a laundry area that had been cobbled together and desperately needed some help! We worked with our client on product selection for the 2 spaces, and put together a great gameplan to achieve the perfect results. Let’s take a look at what we were starting with:
First floor bathroom:
This room definitely needed an update! We tore out all of the old fixtures so we could start with a blank slate. We installed a new shower enclosure with easy to clean walls and rearranged the plumbing for the laundry area. To modernize the space, we traded out the dull peachy colors for a sleek gray and white style. The water proof vinyl plank flooring added the perfect touch to complete the space.
With the first floor bathroom completed, we turned out attention to the second floor bathroom. Let’s take a look:
Second floor bathroom:
The worst part of this next bathroom was the tub enclosure. Over time, it becomes impossible to keep certain shower surrounds clean. This unit definitely showed its age, and the client desired to upgrade the look. We also removed the dated tile counter tops and flooring. To help with resale, we opted to keep a tub in this bathroom and paired it with a beautiful Flexstone surround. We utilized vinyl plank flooring in this bathroom as well. Once we installed the new double vanity, we installed 2 mirrors and light bars to finish off the space. The results turned out perfectly!
