Welcome back to another project completed by A+ Home Improvements! Once this client contacted us, we especially looked forward to helping out because we already had a great experience renovating their kitchen several years ago. This time around, we needed to totally transform the bathroom! The existing bathroom was dated and original to the home. Thick tile covered the walls, and the fixtures were starting to show there age. To help us, our client already knew the look they were going for. With a design concept already in mind, we went to work helping with the product selection process. Our client desired one thing – they wanted to keep the original cast tub. When considering your project, remember that this is possible, but the result is not always ideal. Luckily, we saved this client’s tub without incurring any damage. Let’s take a look at the old space.
In addition to updating the tile surround and fixtures, the lighting left much to be desired. Even with light yellow colors, the bathroom look dingy and uninviting. Our client chose to incorporate a gray theme for their new bathroom space. A herringbone tile pattern for the surround created a focal point for the bathroom, while the new tile flooring paired up perfectly. We updated the lighting to 5K LED lighting to broadcast a better glow. To add a little “wow” factor, we installed an integrated LED mirror over the vanity to provide additional lighting. Everything in this new bathroom complemented each other perfectly, and our client loved the results!
