Spring is back, so let’s build a beautiful composite deck! As the winter doldrums begin to come to an end, home owners everywhere start looking around outside to see what projects to tackle first. Neighborhoods begin to buzz with excitement as people look forward to fun in the sun with friends and family! This next client fit that description perfectly. Their project started due to foundation work that had to be completed, which left the existing deck in shambles. Lucky for us, our client pretty much knew what they wanted already. We helped with the final layout and design, then got everything on order. Take a look at what we started with:
Doen’t exactly scream oasis, does it?! In addition to the new deck build, we needed to address the rim joist and small framing details before ramping up the project. To lower the hassle of future maintenance, our client opted for a Trex deck with white vinyl railings. To close of the bottom, we installed white pvc lattice for the perfect touch. For some ambience, we also installed some led lighting for the post caps. To avoid to much light at night, our client desired to space the post lights around the structure. Take a look:
