Welcome back to another A+ Home Improvements’ project! For our next project, we had the pleasure of working with a repeat client. Previously, we renovated their guest bathroom, which turned out beautifully. Unfortunately, this time around centered on a project that they didn’t necessarily plan on tackling. Their master bathroom already contained a good looking tile shower enclosure, but due to time and possible previous installation, it began to leak and deteriorate. They tasked us with replacing a tiled shower. Since they needed to overhaul the shower anyways, they decided to add a little pizzaz with their tile selection. We worked hand in hand with them to select the perfect products, and geared up to knock it out of the park. Take a look at what we started with:
At first glance, the shower seems fine. However, the issues were evident upon further investigation. The new unit would occupy the same space, but the tile selection provided a completely different look. The home owner opted for a pebble style tile for the shower pan and accents at the rear of the shampoo niches. For the surround, they paired it with a unique, random angled stone look tile that definitely provided some “pop”. The two shampoo niches also provided plenty of space for toiletries.
