Hello – welcome back to another A+ Home Improvements’ project! With winter’s grasp upon us, we wanted to showcase a recent project to be enjoyed during the cold season. Our next client’s back yard already contained a small concrete patio. What they desired, however, consisted of a larger concrete patio with a pergola and hot tub. We gathered the specs from our client and laid out the perfect size to accommodate the items. We originally added on to the existing pad with a stain color to try blending in, but the color difference stood out. To remedy the situation, we stained both sections of the patio to match. Take a look at the results:
What a great space! The pergola that our client chose was sweet!! Not only could you move the louvers to control the sunlight, but it also contained a gutter system to provide a waterproof roof when needed. We ran the electrical for the pergola’s motor, as well as the circuitry needed for the hot tub. The homeowner’s backyard now consisted of a space for furniture under the pergola, along with a relaxing spot to melt away the stresses of the day. Coordinating everything provided a few hiccups, but overall the project went well and gave our client’s home a great space to enjoy. Do you have a dream for your own backyard oasis?
