Hey everybody – welcome back to another A+ Home Improvements’ project!! Our next client desired a bathroom renovation to help out with accessibility, and they were fantastic to work with. The existing bathroom contained an old cast tub, dated CARPET, and a large linen cabinet that cut the room in half. For starters, they needed an accessible shower with features to help them in their everyday life. Additionally, they wanted to update the fixtures and flooring as well. After going over options, they opted for a bath remodel with Flexstone. Take a look at what we started with:
Talk about a blast from the past! During product selection, we showed them a Flexstone surround and they loved it. Flexstone provides an elegant look without the hassle of tile. For the floor, we installed a water proof vinyl tile that provided slip resistance along with a warm feel. We also replaced the vanity and fixtures to bring the space back to life. Take a look:
Definitely a big difference! To help with accessibility, we installed some grab bars and a shower seat to make moving around easier. The client loved the results enough that they decided to have us renovate another bathroom and update the kitchen, which we will cover in next week’s post. Does this scenario sound familiar?
