Man, do we have a another sweet project to show off! A+ Home Improvements keeps knocking out projects for our clients, and this next one was spectacular! In addition to other things, this project consisted of a bathroom with a large LED mirror. The existing space provided plenty of room, but the original layout left a lot to be desired. The shower enclosure, while unique, felt cramped and small. The large garden tub went unused, and the flow of the bathroom needed to be updated. We worked with our client to design the perfect layout, and helped select fabulous products. Take a look at what we started with:
Definitely a lack of functionality for such a large space. After going over various design plans, the homeowner ultimately decided that deleting the shower and using the existing tub space for a large walk in shower made the most sense. A unique feature of this bathroom entailed a large skylight above the old tub location, providing awesome natural lighting for the new shower enclosure. To achieve a more open feel, we also deleted the curved soffits. The new shower enclosure consisted of a 5×5 shower pan with beautiful flexstone surround walls. The size of the shower also allowed us to include sconce lighting as well. We installed a large double vanity and a beautiful, huge LED mirror for ambient lighting. To finish it off, we installed waterproof vinyl plank flooring and updated all of the fixtures in the space. Take a look at the results:
