We love completing all kinds of projects, but sometimes you come across one that just seems to stand out a little extra. This gorgeous kitchen renovation definitely fit the bill! Our client had an idea of what they wanted, but needed a little direction completing the concept. Large soffits surrounded the kitchen cabinets, creating a bulky look that limited storage. We met with them and provided an estimate based on eliminating the soffits to open up the space. As a standard procedure, we drilled holes in the soffit to inspect for any hidden issues that could arise. Unfortunately, there was electrical, plumbing and HVAC hidden in the enclosure. Armed with the updated information, our client chose to spend the money to move the utilities, and the result was definitely worth the investment!
While stunning, these pictures do not do justice for this kitchen renovation outcome. Our client decided to install white upper cabinets with contrasting navy blue lowers. We updated the lighting to bright LED’s, and dropped a couple of accent pendant lights over the island. To sweeten the deal, we installed a pot filler over the stove to help make cooking a breeze! We also outfitted the kitchen with matte black fixtures and pulls that added the perfect amount of “pop”. Just look at the pictures – this kitchen looks clean and pristine! Definitely a fun project that brought satisfaction to all parties involved.
