A+ Home Improvements is knocking out another project! This time around, we tackled a master bathroom that needed a proper update. The bathroom already consisted of a Roman tub and a shower, but the execution left much to be desired. Our client desired a large shower and a free-standing tub. The existing space contained the essentials, but unfortunately it had been constructed in a sub-par manor. Due to the original installation, the tile floor became unattached and began to shower cracking grout lines everywhere. We went over a number of options with the client, and eventually settled on the perfect plan. We ordered the products and geared up for the renovation. Let’s see what we started with:
We demoed the existing fixtures and wet areas and prepped for the new installation. To provide more standard options, we built a small bump-out at the left of the shower enclosure to accommodate a stock size shower pan. Our client selected a large format tile with a perfectly accenting tile at the rear of the niche. The tile flooring was replaced with a beautiful waterproof vinyl plank flooring, and the large tub are was exchanged for a sleek, clean free-standing tub that created a much more open feeling. We also took the time to repair the water damage at the chase for the skylight. Mission accomplished:
