A+ Home Improvements keeps knocking projects out of the park! Last week we showed off some simple porch columns, so this week we wanted to dive into a more involved renovation. Our next clients existing bathroom screamed outdated, and definitely needed some help. Our client didn’t know exactly where they wanted to start, but definitely knew that they needed their old bathroom renewed. We visited with the homeowner and went over some of the main points that they wanted to address during the renovation. All of the old thick tile needed to go, and every fixture needed to be updated. Let’s take a look at what we started with:

This layout and style was extremely popular back in the day. To open things up, we deleted the false header over the tub enclosure. We also tore out all of the tile and plaster so that we could start with a clean slate. Ventilation remained a key point, so we installed a new exhaust fan and vented it out to the exterior. Our client desired to keep a tub, so we installed a new one with an easy to clean acrylic surround. Many options exist for glue up surrounds, and our client opted to install Flexstone. We also replaced the vanity, updated the fixtures and installed a waterproof vinyl plank flooring. Take a look at the results:

We remain blessed to have absolutely fantastic installers. Our goal is not only to provide a fantastic service, but also to build lasting relationships through our interactions with our clients. The new space worked perfectly for the homeowner, and they were excited to put it to use. Do you need an old bathroom renewed? Our team of experts stands ready and waiting to give you a hand. We look forward to working with you.
