Welcome back to another A+ Home Improvement project, everybody! This time around, our client needed a tub to shower transformation. While their existing bathroom space was perfectly functional, it did not cater to their everyday needs. Creating an easy to access bathroom space provides peace of mind for clients in these situations. Our client not only desired accessibility, but also wanted to transform the bathroom into a beautiful area that better represented their tastes. The first item that needed addressed was the current tub enclosure. Our client wanted a walk in shower with bench seating, and we knew exactly the perfect design. We helped the home owner with the product selection process, and prepared to turn their dreams into a reality. Let’s see what we started with:
As we mentioned earlier, there was absolutely nothing wrong with the existing space. Inaccessibility was the only downfall with the current layout. We removed the tub and installed a tile shower enclosure with bench seating. The vinyl flooring was removed and wood-look tile flooring was installed in its place. We updated the vanity and other fixtures in the bathroom as well. Here is the finished result:
