Welcome back! We are excited to show you guys our next project. As you will see from the before pictures, our client’s bathroom needed some serious tender love and care. The existing tile and fixtures had reached their expiration point, and our client desired modernize their bathroom space. When considering design elements, our client opted for a timeless subway tile shower with black fixtures. The walls were in disarray, so we decided to fix them up and apply a light texture that not only repaired the walls, but added a character element that fit with the age of the home. Let’s take a look at the original space:
Yikes!! You don’t have to look hard to realize that this bathroom needed an overhaul. We removed all of the tile and fixtures and prepped for the new installation. The original tub was larger than standard, so we framed a small bump out on the left side to not only fit a standard tub, but also provide us with a space to move the plumbing and install adequate insulation. The tile surround went up and we installed two niches to provide ample space for our client’s bathing products. Take a look:
