Welcome back to another A+ Home Improvements’ project! As we take a small break from exterior repairs this summer, we turn our attention to a bathroom update. Our next client wanted to update the builder grade products in their second floor bathroom. The space provided a nice size, including an extra vanity area attached to the main bathroom. The home owner had already chosen a number of the items that caught their eye, so we helped wrangle up the other items needed for the renovation. Let’s take a look at the starting point:

See – plenty of space! We ripped out the old fixtures and started putting the space back together again. For the tub area, our client opted to install a tile surround with white tile edging. We also installed a recessed niche to provide a spot for toiletries.  In the attached vanity room, we centered the bowl and install a recessed light over the cabinet. Sconce lights were also used to add additional lighting. We mirrored this look in the main portion of the bathroom as well to pull the spaces together. Vinyl plank flooring spanned both rooms to provide continuity. While not a huge renovation, the changes made a world of difference:
