Last week we talked about tacking a couple of projects at the same time. Well, this week we will cover multiple bathroom projects that our client wanted to complete. Our client wanted to convert the standard tub in her common bathroom into a walk in tub to make it more accessible. Walk in tubs provide a level of comfort and ease of use that can allow clients to remain in their home during times of dealing with disabilities. In addition to the walk in tub, our client wanted to add some color with a custom surround. The common bath project consisted of replacing the flooring, installing a new vanity top and installing the walk in tub. The end result was fantastic!!
Once we completed the common bath, we turn our attention to the master bathroom. Our client wanted both rooms to have accessible showering/bathing areas, but wanted the master bathroom to have a little more pizzazz. We removed the old standard one piece shower enclosure, and installed a new Flexstone shower unit. Many different solid surface surround options exist, and Flexstone provides a quality product at a reasonable price. A folding seat and grab bars were added to make the shower extremely easy to access and use. The flooring was also replaced to complete the project.
