We are back at it again! Our client’s old tub desperately needed an upgrade. The existing tub was badly stained as you can see from the pictures. The tile surround and soffit also needed repaired. While a new shower enclosure was the main focal point, installing a rain shower was high on our client’s wish list. We helped our client through the material selection portion of the project, then began the process of bringing their bathroom back to life.
Our client desired to update the flooring while we completed the shower portion of the renovation, so a water proof vinyl plank flooring was selected that fit the space perfectly. To add some room to the shower enclosure and to make space for installing a rain shower, we deleted the soffit over the shower. Once we completed the demolition process, we went to work putting the space back together again. Our client chose to install a Flexstone shower surround, and the results created a stark contrast compared to the old unit. We installed the rain shower at the ceiling as opposed to installing a long shower arm.
What a difference!! We created an a whole new identity for this once plain bathroom. The selected flooring paired perfectly with the new shower color. Our client selected brushed nickel fixtures to compliment the new color scheme as well. Once the shower door was installed, we cleaned up so the client could enjoy their new space.
