Welcome back to another A+ Home Improvements’ project! While we love tackling large, complex projects, sometimes a small change makes a huge difference. Our client wanted to replace a tub with a shower. The existing tub enclosure needed some serious help. One obstacle for the project was the window. In situations such as this, having a window in the enclosure limits some of the options a home owner has for the surround. Tile and glue up surrounds remain the optimal choices for situations like this. We worked with the client to select the perfect products, then geared up to get the job underway. As you can see, the existing space wasn’t very inviting. Our client wanted to ditch the tub altogether, opting instead for the convenience of a walk in shower. For the surround, we installed Flexstone paired with the coordinating window trim kit to finish it off. The final touch was the new shower door, which provided the perfect look for the new space.
