Welcome back to another A+ Home Improvements’ project!! Our next client tasked us with an absolutely fun renovation involving their master bathroom. The existing space was original and definitely SCREAMED dated! For a period of time, some home builders enjoyed incorporating carpet into their bathroom designs, and this home fit that bill. The carpet had to go, being replaced instead with a beautiful, water proof vinyl plank flooring. The other main portions of this renovation revolved around a freestanding tub and tiled shower. Let’s take a look the the tub situation:
Look at that monster! To open up the area and provide and much more updated look, we installed a freestanding tub to fill the void. The change was drastic:
While the new tub took up the same spot as the old unit, it provided a much sleeker look while creating an open feeling. Next up – the shower:
We are sure that many of our readers have seen this before. Standard, builder grade unit that is bulky and hard to keep clean. Our client opted to replace it with a subway style shower with matte black fixtures. HUGE difference!
The rest of the project involved replacing the dated, worn out vanity and fixtures throughout the master bathroom. We worked hand in hand with our client to select the perfect products to show off the space.
